Industrial hemp has been used since 8000 BC, and it's properties include being anti-bacterial, needing no fertilizers and almost no water to grow, it cleans and restaures the nutrients in the soil, and it is also very durable. In fact, Hemp is so strong that Henry Ford even built a car out of it.

Yes. The hemp upper is treated to repel water and resist absorption. Combined with the gusseted tongue and sealed construction, your feet stay dry in rain, mud, and wet grass. They are weatherproof, not fully submersible like a rubber boot, so they breathe while keeping the elements out.

Brush off dry dirt with a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap and air dry at room temperature, never machine wash or use direct heat. The hemp upper softens and develops character with wear.
